Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park
With 92 square miles, the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park is the perfect place to enjoy some cross-country skiing this winter! There are over 87 miles of designated cross-country trails. Some trails take you to hilltop views of Lake Superior and others guide you through the thick hemlocks of the wilderness!

The Ottawa National Forest offers a winter wonderland for the Nordic skiing enthusiast. With almost a million acres available for this sport, there is sure to be something for everyone in the beautiful snow covered landscape.
Bergland Ski Trail
